About this trip

The picturesque coastline of Bay of Naples lies in the shadow of the mighty Vesuvius and both offer world class geographical experiences to inspire your students and enhance their learning of tectonics, coasts, tourism, farming and more. This volcanic region continues to see a large amount of volcanic and tectonic activity.

Whilst visiting this region many groups also choose to visit the world famous archaeological sites, Pompeii and Herculaneum or take a boat ride over to the Island of Capri.  There are many opportunities to learn more about local produce with visits to cheese and lemon farms or to an olive oil factory.

Renowned for its outstanding buffalo mozzarella, your guided school tour will provide an insight into all aspects of production and an opportunity to taste the outstanding produce.
  • Pertosa Caves
An ideal add-on to the Amalfi Coast drive. Located in the Alburni Mountains, immersed in the heart of a spectacular nature, this Kart cave system extends for a length of about three thousand feet, suspended between land and water.
