Educational Visits In Madrid

Other Study Visits

  • Institute of European Design
We can include a visit here to one of the great birthplaces of fashion in Madrid. This is a school of designers, which has set-ups across Italy, Spain and Brazil. Students will have the chance to visit this school of designers, who have already showcased their collections on the catwalk in Madrid and learn more about its work.
  • San Fernando Royal Academy of Fine Art
One of Madrid's leading museums, San Fernando Royal Academy takes visitors on a tour through European and Spanish history between the 15th and 20th centuries. Of special interest is the work of Spanish Romantic master Francisco Goya, who was the institution’s painting director.
  • National Museum of Decorative Arts

This is housed in a 19th century palace overlooking the Parque del Retiro. Its rich collection mainly consists of furniture, ceramics, and decorative pieces from Spain dating back to Phoenician times.

Other Cultural Visits

  • El Escorial
Located around an hour outside Madrid and often combined with a visit to historic Toledo, El Escorial is a town home to the Monastery San Lorenzo el Real built during the reign of King Philip II. The monastery of El Escorial is the Pantheon of the Spanish Kings as well as Palace, Monastery and Church and has a fantastic range of art and the magnificent room containing the gold sarcophagi of the Spanish Kings.
  • Sightseeing tour
A sightseeing tour of Madrid, either on foot or by private coach and guided by an experienced tour professional, will offer your group the opportunity to see the city's main attractions and to gain a useful insight into the history and culture of the city.
