About this trip

In February 1941 Life Magazine published an article by Henry R Luce. Its title, The American Century, became synonymous with the ever increasing influence the United States had on world affairs throughout the 20th century.

For those studying the history of the USA, WST can provide you with a bespoke programme which includes visits to all the iconic locations that New York City and Washington DC have to offer - including Washington's Arlington Cemetery and Gettysburg National Military Park, and New York's 9/11 Museum and Ellis Island Museum.

So whether your focus is the Inter-war years or the post-war challenges; The Civil Rights Movement and the political, economic and social divisions of the 1950s, 60s  and 70s - or whether you simply want to give your students the chance to see two of the world's most powerful cities for themselves, WST is the ideal place to organise the whole package for you.
